Underwater
hunting was, at the beginning, a hobby and a way to relax for Solokhin Anatoliy,
but then it became much more than only an ordinary hobby. Letâs, now, return
to the past. Having retired from the army in rank of major of paratrooper force,
Solokhin Anatoliy discovered the same feeling of freedom being under water as the
feeling of free flight. He made his own underwater gun and patented it. UPGS
ö Underwater Pneumatic Gun of Solokhin. It has been improving for more than
20 (twenty!) years. This time it is well known among underwater hunters. ãIt
is very interesting to create new things, but what I like best is underwater
hunting ö it is more interesting and usefulä, - says Solokhin Anatoliy. One of
the central TV channels of Russia showed a program about him and his invention.
The
Undewater Pneumatic gun is disigned for large fish underwater hunting in sea and
fresh waters. Depending upon the barrel length the UPGS gun is produced in two
modifications: UPGS-1 with the barrel length of 400 mm, UPGS-2 with the barrel
length of 600 mm.
